What warranty chargebacks cost a dealership

A chargeback takes back money the store already counted on. The parts, the labor, and the technician time were spent. The OEM debit puts that amount back on the dealer.

The cost is not only the debit. Someone in the warranty office has to rebuild the file, and the claim may be denied again if the story still does not match the repair order.

WarrFix prices the recovery work as a share of money actually recovered: 20% of what is paid back, after the first 5 recovered claims, which are free. If nothing is recovered, there is no fee. That is different from a monthly fee for preparing every claim before it is submitted. That later plan is separate.

None of this requires an OEM portal login. The dealer’s own warranty admin resubmits the approved package.
